About Baby-kingdom: Established in 2002, Baby-kingdom has been providing the most updated parenting information for local parents. With over 650 thousands members, eshop.baby-kingdom.com is the official online platform of Baby Kingdom which gathers a wide range of baby products from various local and international brands.
Our team consists of a group of passionate professionals who shared the same belief with us. Their diversified backgrounds equipped themselves with top-notch skills in sewing and textile production. They have worked in international brands like Calvin Klein, Esprit, Ralph Lauren, Burberry etc. Apart from the experienced ones, we also have some teenage staff as apprentice which becomes a synergy to our team.
Wai Yi has been working in the textile industry since the 1970s. She had once worked for large brands like Esprit, Wrangler and so on. She is experienced in manufacturing clothing of different materials, from silk to knit. Being motivated by our effort in supporting women employment, Wai Yi joined us as a Production Manager of BBshop. She is now responsible for textile merchandising, designing of kids clothing, monitoring the production process and so on.
Elvis, being a post-90s, graduated from the Textile and Design department of the Institute of Vocational Training. He has been working in the textile industry since 2014, being responsible for merchandising and designing work. Since joining us in 2005, he has learned a lot of production knowledge from the seniors of the textile industry. We look forward to having more youngsters like Elvis to join so that the torch could be passed on to them.
Irene is a young post-80s mom, with two sons to take care of. She developed her interest in fashion and textile when she was modelling. Since then, she has tried to make dresses for dolls. Realizing her lack of relative skills and the fact that she has some free time every day after her kids went to school, she has decided to join us as an apprentice to gain specific knowledge. It is definitely a “Killing two birds with one stone” situation as she can still take care of her family while pursuing her dream.
